London, Paris and Rome

Have a ball at Piccadilly Circus, smile back at Mona Lisa, and marvel at the Sistine Chapel in three exciting capitals. On this action-packed tour, Girl Scouts will take in the sights and sounds of London, Paris, and Rome, and experience the adventure of an overnight train ride. Girls will also visit Pax Lodge, a WAGGGS Centre where we’ll arrange a special pinning ceremony.

Day 1: Fly to England

 

Day 2: London
Arrive in London
Take a walking tour of London:

• The Strand
• Trafalgar Square
• Leicester Square
• Covent Garden

 

Day 3: London
Take a guided tour of London:

• Big Ben and Houses of Parliament
• Piccadilly Circus
• St. Paul’s Cathedral
• Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (if scheduled)

Enjoy free time
Optional: London Eye and Thames River Cruise

 

Day 4: Pax Lodge World Centre • London
Visit Pax Lodge in Hampstead

• Enjoy a special Girl Scout program

 

Day 5: Paris
Travel on the Eurostar train to Paris

 

Day 6: Paris
Take a guided tour of Paris:

• Eiffel Tower
• Arc de Triomphe
• Champs-Élysées 
• Place de la Concorde

Optional: Versailles

 

Day 7: Paris
Visit the Louvre
Take a walking tour of Paris:

• Latin Quarter

Visit Notre Dame Cathedral
Take a night train to Rome

 

Day 8: Rome
Arrive in Rome
Take a guided tour of Rome
Visit the Roman Forum
Visit the Colosseum

 

Day 9: Rome
Take a guided tour of Vatican City
Visit the Sistine Chapel
Visit St. Peter’s Basilica
Take a self-guided walking tour of Rome: 

• Trevi Fountain 
• Pantheon
• Piazza Navona
• Spanish Steps

 

Day 10: Depart for home
