From London to Lucerne

Three European cities. Two WAGGGS Centres. One amazing tour. Girl Scouts will experience the best of both worlds as incredible adventures take them through the bustling streets of London, Paris, and high up into the Swiss Alps. At Pax Lodge and Our Chalet, we’ll arrange for girls to have special pinning ceremonies - making their visits forever memorable and meaningful.

 

Day 1:  Fly overnight to England

 

Day 2:  London
Arrive in London

Take a walking tour of London:

• Piccadilly Circus
• Oxford Street
• Hyde Park

 

Day 3:  London
Take a guided tour of London:

• St. Paul's Cathedral
• Big Ben and Houses of Parliament
• Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (if scheduled)

Take a guided tour of Windsor Castle:

• St. George's Castle
• State Apartments
• Queen Mary's Dolls' House

 

Day 4:  Pax Lodge • London
Visit Pax Lodge in Hampstead

• Enjoy a special Girl Scout program

Take a flight on the London Eye
Take a Thames River Cruise

 

Day 5:  London • Paris
Travel on the Eurostar train to Paris

Take a walking tour of Paris:

• Latin Quarter

Visit Notre Dame Cathedral

 

Day 6:  Paris
Take a guided tour of Paris:

• Eiffel Tower
• Arc de Triomphe
• Champs-Élysées
• Place de la Concorde

Optional: Versailles

 

Day 7:  Paris
Visit the Louvre

 

Day 8: Paris • Adelboden
Travel to Adelboden

 

Day 9:  Our Chalet • Adelboden

Visit Our Chalet:

• Enjoy a special Girl Scout program

 

Day 10:  Lucerne
Travel to Lucerne
Take a tour of Lucerne:

• Lion Monument
• Chapel Bridge

Optional: Mount Pilatus
Enjoy a Swiss Folklore Event

 

Day 11:  Depart for home
