    Surf Lesson

    Surf Lesson

    During this surfing optional excursion, you will have the chance to learn surfing skills at Encuentro Beach located 5 minutes away from the center of Cabarete, Dominican Capital of Surfing. After a warm welcome by the Pahuana Surf School staff, you will change into your surfing gear and instructors will teach you how to stand on the board as well as how to paddle and pass the waves when you get into the ocean. Once in the water, each instructor will have a maximum of three students and will help them facilitate the paddling process and standing up. After dominating this technique, the students will have the chance to paddle and surf by themselves always under the supervision of the instructors.

    Horseback riding in Rio San Juan

    Join this optional horseback riding excursion and explore the natural beauty of the Rio San Juan region. Discover all that this area has to offer, including banana and coffee plantations, as you traverse the varying terrain on horseback. Your guide will provide commentary and will instruct you on safety protocol. (Please note: This activity is for beginners and will last 45 minutes to an hour. Pants and comfortable shoes are recommended.)
