EF High School Exchange Year

Become a  group leader for international high school exchange students at their Welcome Days program held on the EF Academy campus in Thornwood, NY. EF Welcome Days provides participating exchange students with a memorable New York City experience, valuable communication skills, and strong bonds with other exchange students before they embark on their high school exchange year.

Why is this great for Girl Scouts?

You will use the same skills that you have developed in Girl Scouting to impact the lives of visiting international students. As the first face they meet here in the USA, you will be a true cultural ambassador.

International Exchange Coordinator

EF High School Exchange Year

Local International Exchange Coordinators (IECs) are at the core of the EF High School Exchange Year program, helping to find local host families and supporting them and their exchange students throughout the year. As an IEC, you will bring the world into your community, make friends all over the world, and impact the lives of students and host families forever.

Travel Volunteer

Local Girl Scout Councils

As a Travel Volunteer you will work closely with our team to create a sustainable travel program at your local council and make sure all girls have access to travel. Create a travel plan, organize tours, recruit girls in your area and show them the world.
